ARTISTRY is the Center's annual holiday sale of fine art and crafts and includes artists from throughout the nation, and presents the perfect opportunity for purchasing distinctive and unusual holiday gifts.

Each year, artists from across the country present their handmade, one-of-a-kind crafts at Artistry, the Guilford Art Center's annual holiday sale. This year will be the 31st annual Artistry show featuring a wide-ranging assembly of crafts in many price ranges, including ceramics, candles, glass, fine art, metal, jewelry, fiber, wood, ornaments, cards, condiments, soap, leather, toys, and more. All proceeds benefit the Guilford Art Center, its school and gallery programs.

Artistry 2009 will be held November 13, 2009- January 3, 2010.

Nonprofit Groups Invited to Offer Items for Sale at Guilford Art Center's Holiday Event
The Guilford Art Center welcomes area nonprofit organizations to raise funds by selling items at the Center's annual holiday sale. Artistry on the Shoreline, a Holiday Sale of Fine Craft & Art, will feature fine handmade objects by artists who live and work on the Connecticut shoreline. The event will open on October 20, 2008 and run through January 11, 2009. Examples of items that groups might offer for sale include ornaments, notecards, tee shirts, or other items they normally promote to raise funds. Proceeds from these sales will be reserved for the contributing organizations. This initiative extends the Center's mission, which embraces the artistic interests of individuals and the well being of the communities we serve.
