Calling All Artists Aged 3 to 18!
Students invited to submit artwork to summer exhibit at Guilford Art Center. Guilford Art Center announces an open Call for Entries for a children's art exhibit, Imagined, which will be on view from July 31st to August 14th at the Guilford Art Center. Click here for more information.
Guilford Art Center Seeks Artists
for Annual Holiday Sale of Fine Craft
The Guilford Art Center seeks artists in all fine craft media to apply to be included in Artistry, the Center’s 31st Annual Holiday Sale of Fine Craft and Art. Artistry will take place November 13th through January 3, 2010. Artists from the United States and Canada working in a wide variety of media are invited to apply, including those creating pottery, glass, wood, jewelry, metal, clothing, weaving, fine art, paper and book arts, and toys.
Applications will be available in early June and can be downloaded at that time. All work must be handmade in the USA and be of high quality. Jury fee is $20. Submit slides or photos, a minimum of five, with SASE for return of slides, or actual sample work, with funds for return shipping. Application deadline is August 15, 2009. GUILFORD
CRAFT EXPO 2009
The Annual Guilford Craft Expo is a nationally juried
show of fine American craft, held outdoors, under
tents on the Guilford Green in Guilford, Connecticut.
Approximately 175 artists exhibit in all craft media
including baskets, ceramics, fiber, glass, leather,
metal, jewelry, paper, mixed media, sculpture, furniture,
wood and more. Work must be handcrafted in the United

Teaching
Positions
Teaching positions are available for semester long
classes and weekend workshops. Consideration is given
to those with prior teaching experience and to curriculum
that complements the programs at the Center. If you
are interested in joining the faculty of the Guilford
