Ceramic Sculpture
Call for Submissions
Juror: Lisa Wolkow
This exhibition is open to sculptural works which use clay as the primary medium, and which celebrates the variety of ways clay can be used to create new and innovative work. Open to U.S. residents. $1,000 in prizes to be awarded by the juror. Application Deadline: April 2, 2010. A completed application, digital images, and entry fee must be received by this date.

Call for Artist for New ShopSpace Gallery
The Guilford Art Center announces a call to artists to submit their work for consideration for exhibition in the Center's new ShopSpace Gallery. The ShopSpace Gallery at Guilford Art Center will sponsor ongoing exhibits, featuring a lively selection of works in many media throughout the year, selected from among submitted work. Artists working in all media, in two- or three-dimensions, are invited to apply.

Teaching
Positions
Teaching positions are available for semester long
classes and weekend workshops. Consideration is given
to those with prior teaching experience and to curriculum
that complements the programs at the Center. If you

Guilford Art Center Seeks Artists
for Annual Holiday Sale of Fine Craft
The Guilford Art Center will be seeking artists in all fine craft media to apply to be included in Artistry, the Center’s 32nd Annual Holiday Sale of Fine Craft and Art. Artistry 2010 will take place November and December 2010. Artists from the United States and Canada working in a wide variety of media are invited to apply, including those creating pottery, glass, wood, jewelry, metal, clothing, weaving, fine art, paper and book arts, and toys.
Applications will be available in early June and can be downloaded at that time. All work must be handmade in the USA and be of high quality. Jury fee is $20. Submit slides or photos, a minimum of five, with SASE for return of slides, or actual sample work, with funds for return shipping. Application deadline is August 15, 2010.
