THE ABC'S OF BEADING [workshop]

This workshop will teach you all the basics of beadwork. You'll learn about different kinds of beads, the findings and tools that beaders use, and various methods of designing, stringing and finishing. Working with howlite, black onyx, hematite or rose quartz, you'll also learn the knotting technique that professionals use for pearls and other fine beads. Class limited to 8. Materials fee covers all tools and supplies for first project. For an optional second project, you can purchase additional beads from the instructor or you can bring any beads or broken necklaces you already have and would like to use. Fee payable with tuition $25.00

PROGRESSIVE BEADING [workshop]

Experienced students who want to increase their beading skills will receive expert instruction and guidance in designing original projects. The instructor will assist with construction and finishing methods to help you reach your design goals. Students should bring sketches and design ideas, beads and accessories they would like to use, and a list of questions! Additional materials will be available for purchase from the instructor, but you should bring any beads you already have and would like to use. Class is limited to 8.
