SAY IT IN STAINED GLASS
EILEEN O'DONNELL
Ten Tuesdays, beginning September 23
7:30pm-9:30pm
Imagine creating vibrant pictures with light. All of the colors of the rainbow are at your fingertips and only your imagination is needed to create breathtaking images. This is what it is like to work with stained glass. A fragile medium that has been with us for centuries inspires countless people with its ethereal and divine qualities. In this class, students from beginners to experienced can learn and refine the art of stained glass making. The process of cutting, foiling and soldering will be reviewed and beginning students can make a panel of their choice. After that, your imagination is the limit. Experienced students can make larger panels, boxes, panel lamp shades, picture frames or any other projects they desire. If Tiffany lamp shades or Frank Lloyd Wright windows are your inspiration, then this class is right for you. Materials list provided.
