Evenings at Craft Expo: Great Music, Food & Fine Crafts
Guilford Art Center's 54th annual Craft Expo will feature great music this year, in addition to its extensive presentation of handmade crafts by more than 175 American artists. This year Craft Expo visitors can enjoy music every evening and some afternoons, while they shop for fine crafts and savor a meal from one of the food trucks on-site: the Caseus Grilled Cheese Truck, Taco Pacifico, the Naples Pizza Truck, plus Ashley's Ice Cream.
J-Walk is a hugely popular group of Guilford High School students with outsized talent and a hepcat playlist.
Rizzo's Dilemma is an improvisational rock band from New Haven, with a reputation for packing clubs and small venues along the Connecticut shoreline with dedicated fans. Their music blends the technique and structure of traditional rock with the experimentation and creativity of new-age progressive rock.
Glenn Roth is an acoustic guitarist with a unique style of solo playing: aggressive, emotional, vibrant, melodic, in turn and often within the same song. He performs regularly throughout the tristate area.
Joan Levy Hepburn is an artist, blues guitar player, nature lover, and teacher (including at Guilford Art Center) who maintains Art at Murray Pond, a center in Killingworth, Connecticut, for art classes, concerts, and retreats.
