Faculty Art Work Featured in Exhibition at Guilford Art Center
Guilford Art Center is pleased to announce an exhibit of works in all media by its faculty artists. The Faculty Exhibition features works by artists who have taught at the Center during the past two years. It will take place in the Center's Mill Gallery, February 10-March 16, 2012.
"We are excited to be showcasing art made by our own faculty members in our own gallery," says Program Director Maureen Belden. "The Guilford Art Center has an amazing roster of instructors, working in a wide range of media and approaches, and this exhibition is a chance for the public to see the quality and breadth of their work." Works on view will include painting, drawing, pottery, glass, weaving, jewelry, stone carving and more.
The opening reception for the Faculty Exhibition is Friday, February 10, 5-7pm. The opening is free and open to the public. Admission to the exhibition is free. Hours for the Mill Gallery are Monday through Sunday, 10am-4pm. For more information contact the Guilford Art Center at 203-453-5947.
