Grown-ups Celebrate Halloween at
Guilford Art Center's Annual Costume Party

Guilford Art Center announces it's third annual Halloween Costume Party for adults 21 & over, on Saturday, October 29, 7-11pm. This year the party will take place in the school at Guilford Art Center.

This third annual bash will feature appetizers, beer and wine, a DJ and dancing, silent auction, and prizes for best costumes. The GAC studios building will be transformed into a spooky trail and the party will take place throughout the haunted school.

"This event is one lots of people look forward to, and the creative costumes folks come up with are getting better every year," says Program Director Maureen Belden. "It's a fun adult event and one that also helps support the Center."

The Art Center Halloween Party will also be the location of a jack-o-lantern contest, sponsored in conjunction with the Guilford Park & Recreation Department's annual Halloween Party. Bring your carved pumpkins to the Center during the day on Saturday, October 29. They will be on display at the party that night, then also the next day on the Guilford Green. Winning pumpkin's creator receives a free class at Guilford Art Center.

Halloween Party tickets are $35 per person in advance; admission at the door only if space permits. All proceeds benefit Guilford Art Center's educational programs. For more information and for reservations, call (203) 453-5947.
