Creative Prom Styles: Fashion Show at Guilford Art Center Event Benefits Center's Educational Programs
Guilford teens will walk the runway in the latest styles for prom season 2010 at Wear it Out!, a prom fashion show event at Guilford Art Center on Thursday, March 4, from 7-9pm.
Models representing the GHS classes of 2010-2014 will present an array of gowns by Asiye's Boutique of Guilford and Madison. Teens and parents are invited to attend and to discover creative and flattering, head-to-toe styles for the upcoming prom season.
"We like to promote creativity in all its guises, be it what you make or what you wear," says Maureen Belden, GAC Program Director. "We hope middle- and high schoolers will be inspired to make their own fashion statements, and to cheer on their friends and classmates brave enough to strut their stuff."
Asiye's Boutique has a staff with a passionate focus on customer service, and the ability to "dress a lady, young or mature, for any special occasion." Wear it Out! will also include displays of jewelry, shoes, hair styles, as well as refreshments and a silent auction.
Wear it Out! is $20 per person at the door. Space may be reserved by contacting Bonita Roggow, Special Events Coordinator, at (203) 453-5947 ext. 18. All proceeds benefit Guilford Art Center's educational programs.
