Students Showcase Work
At Guilford Art Center
New creations by students at Guilford Art Center will be featured in the Student Exhibit in the Center's gallery, February 8-March 10, 2013. The show will highlight recent work in all media by students who have taken classes or workshops at the Center in the past two years. Works by both adult and youth program students will be featured.
"This show is a great opportunity for our students to present to the public the wonderful work created in our classes," says Executive Director Maureen Belden. "Our students study painting and drawing, pottery, weaving, blacksmithing, metalsmithing, glass making and more, so the variety of works on view will be exciting."
The Student Exhibit opens on Friday, February 15, with a reception from 5-7. Gallery hours are Monday-Saturday, 10am-4pm and Sunday 12-4pm. The exhibit and the opening reception are free and open to the public.
