The financial support and endorsement of Guilford Art Center friends and contributors is the driving force behind the Center's success as a place to experience and enjoy the world of art.

As a non-profit organization, the Center depends on supplemental outside funding to maintain, expand and enhance its many quality courses and special art enrichment programs and, with this purpose in mind, offers a variety of giving opportunities from which individuals and businesses may choose. Popular possibilities include:

• Response to our annual appeal, which supports our operations and programs throughout the year. Appeal gifts may be made in the form of cash, check, credit card, or online payment. As stated in our 2006-07 annual appeal, in the end, it is the results that make the future.

• Gifts of stock, annuities or funds to be invested in the general endowment fund or scholarship fund, which help secure the Center's financial base for the future. The Development Director will be pleased to provide you with information on possible options.

• Donations designated for use as a scholarship gift or award in honor of a friend or family member--a personalized way to share and further the experience of art.

• Sponsorships help underwrite highly visible programs as gallery exhibitions and such annual events as Expo and Artistry, while providing individual or company name recognition. Potential sponsors are invited to contact the Development Director to learn of possible sponsorship packages.

Financial contributions and gifts are, of course, tax deductible and also result in a satisfaction that stems from knowing that a meaningful difference is being made in people's lives, thanks to your investment in the Center's programs and operations.

Appreciation

The Center extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to its many individual and business friends and sponsors who through their generous support help make possible such programs as EXPO, Artistry and our continuing school and gallery programs.

We are pleased to note that the Guilford Art Center is a participant in the Greater New Haven Arts Stabilization Project, a joint venture of the Greater New Haven philanthropic community.

Support for programs at the Center is also provided through grants from The Connecticut Commission on Culture & Tourism.
