Studio Art Quilt Associates
November 13, 2009 - January 3, 2010

A Reflection can be something reflected, such as light, sound, or an image. Reflection also refers to the act and the result of careful consideration or meditation.

The 34 works selected (from more than 140 submissions by 99 artists) for this exhibition represent a variety of interpretations of the theme as well as diverse ways of thinking about image, surface and space. The selected works share a transcendence of medium and give a sense of the artist's eye and hand working together to present a thought, a meditation, observation, mirrored image, or transformation-Laura Cater-Woods, Juror

This exhibition is generously sponsored, in part by: Yvette & Richard Howard, Diane & David Wright, Sisters in Cloth, Vivika Hansen DeNegre, Ed Johnetta Miller-Fowler, Linda Zimmerman, Norma Schlager, Rita Hannafin, Catherine Smith, Mary Ann Weinberg, Martha Sielman, Bettty Warner, Robin Wolek, and Barbara Adams.
